Orbitrek Travels ("Orbitrek," "we," "us") helps travelers plan and request custom journeys. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using our site you agree to the practices described here.

- Account information. When you sign in or create an account, authentication is handled by our identity provider, Clerk. We receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier so we can associate saved itineraries and requests with you. We do not store your password.
- Trip & itinerary details. Preferences you enter into our trip planner (destinations, dates, party size, interests) and any generated itineraries.
- Contact details. Information you submit through contact or consultation forms, such as your message, email, and phone number.
- Technical data. Basic device, browser, and usage information collected automatically to keep the site secure and functioning.
Cookies
We use essential first-party cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme and consent preferences, and secure the site. We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; note that disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in and other core features from working.
How We Use Your Information
- To build, save, and share the itineraries you request.
- To respond to your consultation requests and contact us messages.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Payments
We currently do not process online payments through this site; bookings begin as consultation requests handled by a specialist. If we introduce online payments in the future, card processing will be handled by a PCI-compliant provider (Stripe), and we will never store full card numbers on our servers. This policy will be updated before any such feature goes live.
Data Retention
Generated custom itineraries are retained for approximately 30 days to give you time to review and act on them, after which they may be automatically removed. Account records and correspondence are kept only as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
Sharing & Third Parties
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the site (for example, Clerk for authentication and, if enabled in the future, Stripe for payments), and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
